FROM THE PRESIDENT

Bismillah

Dear friends and colleagues,

Firstly, I am delighted to welcome you to the Malaysian Orthopaedic Nurses Association webpage.
The practice of orthopaedic began in the 19th century. Orthopaedic surgeons and nurses started caring for and treating both chronic and acute injuries and illnesses. Nowadays, there are numerous subspecialties and advanced techniques available in the field. As a result, rather than depending solely on traditional orthopaedic concepts and abilities to address the demands of orthopaedic patients, orthopaedic nurses in Malaysia must change in response to necessity and developments.
The Malaysian Orthopaedic Nurses Association (MONA) was created on a passion for the specialty of orthopaedic nursing. We have already gathered more than 90 orthopaedic nurses in Malaysia who are extremely passionate about orthopaedic nursing.
Alhamdulillah, the founding members of MONA are highly confident in getting this started and bringing it to the next level as patients demand and innovations in the healthcare industry change on a continuous basis.
Finally, we would like to express our gratitude to the orthopaedic nursing leaders of the Australian New Zealand Orthopaedic Nurses Alliance (ANZONA) for their guidance and assistance throughout the years.

May Allah use us for the good of all of creation and provide us His blessings for our lofty aspiration (niat). Ameen

May we strive for excellence in Orthopaedic nursing.

Thank you
